Sawine is a delightful non-dairy dessert made with vermicelli, a mix of aromatic spices, and various forms of coconut milk, topped with grated nutmeg and cardamon powder.
In a pot, heat the plant-based ghee or butter.
Add broken vermicelli and stir until golden brown.
In a separate pot, bring 3 cups of water to boil.
Once the vermicelli is ready, add the boiled water carefully.
Add the cinnamon, cloves, star anise, all spice berries, cardamon pods, and bay leaves to the pot.
Pour in the coconut milk, evaporated milk, and condensed milk, stirring well.
Sprinkle grated nutmeg and cardamon powder on top.
Allow to simmer until the vermicelli is fully cooked and absorbed the flavors.
 Serve warm as a dessert.
